Table of Contents: Release Highlights
- Enhancements to Review Opportunities
- Enhancements to Smart RFX (SRFX)
- Enhancements to Supply Risk Navigator (SRN)
1. Enhancements to Review Opportunities
a. Visibility of Lead Time and End of Life Risk Parameters
While using Review Opportunities, users will now be able to see risk attributes in the opportunity details page. These risk attributes will be visible in both the current and recommended opportunities fields.
Users will be able to see the following risk attributes:
- Lead Time (In Weeks)
- Years to End of Life (YTEOL)
b. New Column to Map Part to Product Family
The Review Opportunities Table and the Review Opportunity Details pages will both now have a field called Where Used (in Product Family) so that users can quickly understand what Product Families could potentially see cost savings when part opportunities are reviewed and accepted.
c. Show Only Changed Values when Comparing Opportunities
When Reviewing the Opportunities Details page, there is a new checkbox option to "Show only changed values" to understand specific differences in the opportunities.
By default, the user will see the full details.
Then when checking the box, they will see only what is changing via the Recommended Opportunity.
2. Enhancements to Smart RFX (SRFX)
a. Display Fiscal Year/Quarter in the RFX List
Commodity Managers need to be able to look at their RFX List and see what requests have been created for specific quarters. This modification to the RFX List creates a new FY-QTR filter which is a dropdown list of values in the viewing preference area that allows the user to pick any one of the following options:
- Next 4 FY-QTRs (Default)
- Last 4 FY-QTRs
- All QTRs
Users can also click the menu in the FY-QTR(s) column in grid view that allows the user to see the association of the request with the Fiscal Year & Quarter (FY-QTR).
Users will also be able to export the RFX List after applying any of these filters.
The FY-QTR filter will also be available in either the Card or Kanban view with FY-QTR indicated on the card summary:
3. Enhancements to Supply Risk Navigator (SRN)
a. Events List Alternative to Events Card View
News and Events will now have two display options which can be toggled in the upper right of the interface. Users can either view Events in List View or view Events in the previous standard Card View.
List View will contain the even title with details, relative age, status, spend impact, revenue impact, and an action menu which can be opened by clicking the three-dot menu on the line item for the event.
b. Events List Toggle Zero Spend Impact Events and Date Filter
Events List will now have a toggle switch which enables or disables Zero Spend Impact Events. The default will be off, so that users will not see events which do not have any spend impact.
Users will also be able to filter based on date ranges from the adjacent dropdown.
c. Supplier List in Event Impact Tab
In the Event Impact Tab when selecting an event to review, there is now a Selectable Supplier list above the Affected Sites list. This Supplier list includes ALL customer suppliers that LD identified as potentially impacted with the associated Spend and Revenue impact.
The Supplier list is Sorted by Active then Closed, with a secondary sort on Spend. In this way, closed suppliers will always be shown, but at the bottom of the list.
When a Supplier is Selected, the supplier Sites Affected grid displays all potentially impacted Sites for that Supplier.
d. Refinements to Create Events
When users attempt to create events there will be much more prominence given to impacted suppliers. Users can now filter suppliers on multiple terms:
- Identify suppliers by specific geographic locations pertaining to the event in question.
- Identify only suppliers who you are actively buying from in your product portfolio.
- From the filter options applied in #1 and #2, check off impacted suppliers to have them added to the selected suppliers list on the right.
Users will also be able to filter associated news by several date ranges so that when creating an event to see impact on specific filtered suppliers you can also limit major news events that have happened in specific time periods (e.g. Last Week). Users will have the ability to see immediate risk impacts to breaking news stories.
