How can I sync existing RFQs if I have updated part forecast information? Follow
Sync RFX is a feature enabled in Smart RFX to handle issues with part information in a Request for Quote (RFQ) when there are multiple versions of relevant part forecast data associated with the RFQ in question. If a buyer has already sent the RFQ, but a new part forecast has been updated in their latest customer data load, the buyer will need to use the Sync RFX function to reconcile the difference and update previous RFQs to use the new information.
Sync RFX Process
- Open the RFQ in question.
- On the main details tab, the SYNC RFX button will be available if the forecast for a part in the RFQ has changed since the RFQ was sent.
- Click Sync RFX and follow the steps resulting in updating the RFQ and notifying the suppliers so quotes can be updated.
- Note: any quotes already submitted will be rejected so the supplier can re-quote the new quantity.
