Spend Intelligence: Scope and Filtering (Video) Follow

In this video, options for selecting scope and filtering to details when viewing data are covered. Scope is always in the upper action bar and View options are always in the top-right of the interface and the data presented in the tab changes based on these selections. When scope filtering, many options exist like time series, part number, commodity manager, and more. Creating and saving filters allows you to return to the platform repeatedly to perform the same queries you find useful to return the regular insights you desire. If you start a fresh query, your existing filters that are applied can be cleared/reset at any time.

Filtering Notes: Even though the full interface permits it, you should not attempt to use Product Scope filters (Product, Product Family, etc.) in Commodity Scope or Commodity Scope Filters (Commodity, CPN, MPN, etc.) in Product Scope, as the results will not be consistent. Within Product Scope, you can only use the Commodity Manager filter on the BOM Tab due to the association.
