How to share an RFX or view a shared RFX? Follow
RFX Share allows Global Commodity Managers (GCMs) to grant view or edit access to other GCMs in their organization. These permissions enable Request for Quote (RFQ) and Request for Information (RFI) activities to have cross-organizational visibility and management capability. In addition to the RFX Creator, users who have been granted permission can respond to requests as well. Users who have administrator privileges do not need to be granted permission by their GCMs, as by default, they will automatically have view and edit privileges for all RFXs.
Sharing an RFX
Quick Share
On the Smart RFX dashboard, users can find the share icon on every RFX card where the request is active. This feature is not enabled for requests in draft status.
When the share icon is selected, a list of users in the organization appears in the dropdown menu as potential recipients for the sharing action:
Upon selecting the user, the owner can grant that user account view or edit permissions on the RFX.
Bulk Share
When viewing the RFX List in Card View, the user can select Bulk Share
Which will toggle to the grid view in the RFX dashboard and enable the selection of multiple RFXs from the list. Select any number of the checkboxes in the left-most column and once satisfied with the bulk selection, click share.
The user can then grant view or edit permissions to other users on this bulk selection of RFQs and/or RFIs.
Viewing a Shared RFX
Users can now switch between two options to view the RFX content created by the current user and the content shared by their peers.
By default, the content displayed on the Dashboard is a combination of (1) All RFXs including both User Created and Shared content; however, in the dropdown a user can select (2) "Created by me" or (3) "Shared with me" options to filter the view to that discrete content accordingly.
