Why is the save button disabled in RFQ details? Follow
In the Supplier Portal when you drill into the details of a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Information (RFI) there are many circumstances which can cause the Save function to appear disabled in the interface. If you cannot save when looking at the details of an RFQ/RFI then one of these issues is likely to blame:
- Errors: When the format is not accurate, there will be cells that get errored out and those are indicated by the cell being outlined in red. Make sure all of these highlighted errors get resolved, and then the Save button will be enabled.
- No Changes: If you have not made any changes to the quote then the save option will not be available. After you have made at least one change to the quote, the save option should be available.
- Past Award Date: When all parts in the RFQ have already been awarded by the customer, the save button gets disabled, because it is not possible to send additional responses.
