Why has my Send Failed on attempted RFQ submission? Follow
When working in the Supplier Portal, you may encounter errors when attempting to send and save data if any of the cells in your working area input table have invalid data by format or content. If you attempt to submit a Request for Quote (RFQ) with invalid data, you may see a pop-up prompt like so:
The system also will not let the entry be saved with invalid data, so if the save button is not available, and you have changed some of the input, then you need to find the red highlighted error cell and follow the input instructions.
For example, the column "Reschedule Term - Days" has a restriction to only permit numerical / integer data entry. If a range of data (e.g. "8-12 days") is input into the field, it is a mix of numbers, text, and special characters and cannot be sent. The cell is highlighted with a red border to call attention to the error and the need to correct it:
