How can I identify parts near end of life with high revenue impact risk? Follow
LevaData Platform's Risk feature can identify the number of components with less than three Years to End of Life (YTEOL) and furthermore array those components by highest to lowest revenue risk. This helps you understand if parts within your commodity have EOL risk and review data such as sourcing, revenue impact, and overall spend which informs your decision-making on further resiliency actions.

Identify End of Life Parts with High Revenue Impact
Navigate to (1) Risk and land in the Portfolio Risk tab, then select (2) Controls to configure for these risks:
(1) Select the Commodity relevant to you, for this example (2) Passives are selected. Also note the location of the control for (3) YTEOL Range.
Open YTEOL Range and (1) Uncheck Select all to reset the filter, then pick (2) <=1 Red and 1-3 Orange.
Your filters will look like this, and you can (1) click the upward arrow to collapse the Controls
With the controls collapsed, use the (1) navigation bar to scroll down to the table labeled (2) Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) Risk Factors
Parts with (1) less than 3 years to end of life are listed, and users can also see (2) count of supplier sources, as well as (3) filtered spend (spend on the current part for the next four quarters) and product sales impact (forecast impact over the next four quarters for all the products where the part is used - if the part became unavailable). Navigation wise, users can (4) expand the table as well as (5) Export the contents to CSV or Excel Workbook for further analysis.
You can click into any header with quantitative information and sort by ascending or descending, for example here, clicking into Filtered Spend and Sort Descending:
Which will array the table in descending order by Filtered Spend amount:
You can also do this in an Excel Workbook if you prefer to manipulate the data on your own with the previously discussed export option from the three-dot menu (...) at the upper right of the table.
In this way, you can properly analyze end of life parts and which ones pose the highest risk in terms of revenue impact to your business.
