How to see your highest risk commodities and subcommodities? Follow
LevaData Platform's Risk feature can show a global commodity manager (GCM) the highest risk commodities and sub commodities under their management. This helps the commodity manager to know which of their parts have high or very high risk, and what kind of impact that can have on their production.
Identify High Risk Commodities by Manager
(1) Navigate to the Risk module, then (2) Open the controls and scroll down to (3) Commodity Manager, where you can drop down and pick your name (e.g. Melissa), or another commodity manager(s) name you wish to look up if you are an administrator. Then (4) use the upward arrow menu to minimize the controls.
Note: If you are a GCM who only manages one commodity, then you will just be looking at the sub commodities under that one commodity, but if you are an administrator who is looking up multiple GCMs simultaneously you may want to additionally control for Commodities and/or Sub-Commodities in the Controls menu:
Once you have finished setting your filters in Controls, you will not have to scroll very far because Top Risks: SubCommodity is one of the very first tables, but you can (1) expand it out to full screen width like this depiction below or export it to Excel Workbook if you would rather work there. You can see the (2) reasons the SubCommodity is at risk, in the case both have Single-Source (SS) and Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) risks. You can (3) click into a quantifiable column like Filtered Spend or Product Sales Impact and sort by the amount.
If we click into the 6 CPNs at Risk for MECHANICALS: LABELS then the interface prioritizes that and applies that filter to the rest of the charts
For example, scrolling down further, you can see the 9 CPNs, and the 6 CPNs at High Risk (H), and all 9 of them in total ranked by spend. This is just two of the many charts at your disposal for risk assessment, and you can further drill and filter by clicking on any element in this or any other chart.
