Identifying Top Risk Manufacturers and Product Impact
Navigate to (1) Risk, and then (2) Click on Manufacturer Risk, then select (3) Controls to (4) Filter down to Commodity Manager if you want to see only your area, or if you are an admin, you can select multiple commodity managers. Then (5) minimize the controls filters by selecting the upward arrow icon in the top right.
(1) Use the Scrollbar to navigate down to (2) Top Risk Manufacturers and Product Impact then we will explore some of the columns and features once we (3) expand it out to maximum size.
There are many fields available, by default the table is sorted by Risk. You can (1) right click into a Manufacturer by name and load their Manufacturer (MFR) Score Card. Across the table you can see how many of your product families are impacted, the CPNs and the share of those at risk, and (2) various financial attributes any of which can be left-clicked into and sorted by descending order.
As a reminder, filtered spend is spend on the current product family for the next four quarters and product sales impact is the forecast impact over the next four quarters for the product family if any of the associated CPNs became unavailable.
As previously mentioned above, right clicking into a manufacturer and electing the MFR Score Card loads that element in a new tab, and you can see (1) various aspects of financial health rated in a scorecard format provided by our third party evaluators. You can also (2) use the dropdown list to see other manufacturers or (3) hit the X to close out of the score card.
Once you have returned to the Top Risk Manufacturers and Product Impact table, if you minimize it back to normal size and select one manufacturer in one row of the table, other chart and table elements in the interface will be filtered down to just the manufacturer. For example, once I select (1) a single manufacturer on this row of the table with 3 associated product families, I can scroll down to (2) Manufacturer Spend by Product Family and see those amounts broken out for that manufacturer.
Manufacturer Risk Factors
If you want to see a list of your associated manufacturers and their risk factors that is also available with a discrete column for every type of risk. All columns with quantitative information are sortable, and like the other Manufacturer tables, right clicking into the name of the LD Manufacturer allows you to enter into the Manufacturer Scorecard as described above.
