What viewing options are available for the RFX List? Follow
When you are working with multiple RFX (Requests for Quote or Information), we have provided you several filtering and viewing options to structure this information to make it easy to track throughout the bidding process.
Filters
Users can filter on specific quarters to check on awards for a specific buying cycle, they can also with specific viewing permissions see RFX that they have created, that have been shared with them, or all.
Quarter Filter
Commodity Managers need to be able to look at their RFX List and see what requests have been created for specific years and quarters. Using the Fiscal Year-Quarter (FY-QTR) filter allows the user to pick any one of the following options:
- Next 4 FY-QTR
- Last 4 FY-QTR
- All QTRs
- Selecting a specific quarter to limit all results to that quarter
RFX Filter
While only certain users with permissions can see all, anyone who can use Smart RFX is capable of filtering to the RFX that they have created or that have been shared with them, like this example below:
Views
Users can switch between multiple views such as Kanban View, Card View, and Grid View.
Kanban View
Kanban view enables the user to track and manage all RFX by their status in a collaborative environment. Kanban view puts all of the RFX in a color and phase coded array from left to right (Draft to Award).
In Kanban view, the RFX are arranged primarily on phase and within that phase they are arranged secondarily by date of creation (from newest to oldest):
Card View
By default, you will land on the Card view, with the cards arranged based on date of creation (from newest to oldest). Status is indicated and color-coded in the same way as Kanban view on the card for quick reference and the dropdown arrow in the top right of each card can be clicked to display the full timeline of the request.
Table View
Table View is a grid-based view of all of the same RFX data, arranged based on date of creation (from newest to oldest) with the status/phases color-coded and pertinent details of the request in the latter columns. It may be pertinent to utilize this view when you need to review RFX one-by-one and make sure that the correct action is taken on each. The table can also be sorted by any of the other columns which have quantitative data in them if you are looking to evaluate specific savings targets.
Archived View
The final button displays an alternate table view which is an archive that displays all Closed and Revoked RFX to the user:
Conclusion
Users can toggle between all of these navigational choices to get to the view that they need to review requests and their current status. We hope that you try more recent enhancements like Kanban view and FY-QTR filter to help you organize your active in-process requests.
