Proactive Risk Assessment: Summary Reports Follow
Summary Reports is the third sub-tab of Portfolio Risk in Proactive Risk Assessment and provides a dashboard with out-of-the-box reports on Supplier Risk Profile, Top 20 Highest Risk Suppliers, Top 20 Highest Risk Parts, and an End-of-Life Parts.
Supplier Risk Profile
Users can view these dashboards to quickly review our assessment of their supplier risk. More detailed risk analyses are in the next report series or in Portfolio Risk or Manufacturer Risk sub-tabs.
Top 20 Highest Risk Suppliers
This report provides additional criteria to support the risk analysis. Share of CPNs at risk and CPNs single-sourced are identified, as well as how much spend you have with the supplier and how much of your product sales are impacted by the parts procured from one of these given suppliers.
The reasoning criteria abbreviations are as follows:
- *FIN: Financial
- *RQL: Requalify
- *DEL: Delivery
- *VMI: Vendor Managed Inventory
- *QUAL: Quality
- *EOL: End of Life
- *PRF: Non-Preferred
- *SS: Single Source
Top 20 Highest Risk Parts
These table displays the parts which scored the highest risk criteria in our analysis and contains key information which can be horizontally scrolled to see additional criteria like Years to end of life, Leadtime (in weeks), CPN Sources, Site Impact, Part Spend, Revenue Impact, etc.
End of Life Analysis
There are several dashboards with key end of life stats, as well as a detailed table called "Risk YTEOL Information" that highlights parts with (very) high and insufficient data EOL risks.
The Aggregated MPN risk tells the user not only (1) if a part is at EOL risk, but also (2) whether the CPN is at risk. If the MPN EOL Risk is very high but the CPN Supply Risk is very low, that often indicates a replacement part with that same supplier has been identified. That will now be indicated in the MPN EOL Risk table.
Once again, scrolling horizontally brings up the detailed criteria for the EOL risk evaluation, namely years to end of life, lead time, # of sources, etc.
