How to identify single source vendors at financial risk? Follow

If your organization relies on a single source for parts, it is important to ensure that the vendor providing those parts has a stable financial health rating. If that vendor goes bankrupt or is unable to provide the parts, your organization's production could be severely impacted. Identifying single-source vendors with low financial health ratings can help avoid these risks.

Identify Single Source Parts with Low Financial Health Rating Vendors

Within Risk Thresholds, we will use two separate calculations to get our part risk intelligence data:

1. # of Vendors per CPN: click the red horizontal bar segment for 1 (single sourced parts).

2. FHR Score Range: use the slider to drag down from 0-100 to 0-40 - this will display vendors with financial health rating scores in highest risk zones (0-40) as well as vendors who do not have an FHR assigned.

   

3. The Manufacturer Table will show you all of the vendors which meet both conditionals - that they are your single-source for a part and they have an at-risk or unknown financial health rating.
4. The CPN > MPN Table will show you all of the parts which meet both conditions as well.
